July 28, 2008--Peering into the dusty, (photoshopped), chrome fender of a car at an auto show. It's me!

July 31, 2008, Light and Medallion, Moreland Theater. The Moreland Theater, in our little Westmoreland downtown is a great venue built in 1926 with wonderful period deco details such as this light medallion in the lobby. Grain and ink filters added in PSE6.

July 19, 2008--The SP&S 700 (slowly) steams through Oaks Bottom, in Southeast Portland for promotional rides for Oaks Park. More info here:http://www.sps700.org/

July 29, 2008--This golden calla lilly called to me on an after dinner walk. We ate at the McCormick and Schmick's in the Marina in SW Portland.

July 26, 2008--Hugs With Grandpa. Spent the afternoon with our son, daughter-in-law, and our 3-year-old grandson who is a whirl of energy.

July 23, 2008--Caballero--My favorite car from the Concours d'Elegance was a '57 Buick Caballero Wagon. Yum! This detail is near the wheel well. July 20, 2008--Took this at the Concours d'Elegance in Forest Grove, OR, today. The blue body color overwhelms the chrome in such a bright setting. http://www.forestgroveconcours.org/

July 30, 2008--Painter's View. A random reader of my older daily photo blog at eBlogger emailed asking to see more tulip farm photos from this past April. To that random reader: You made my day! So, I've been posting them to a new gallery here on Smugmug. What a great day this was! We had stormy, overcast skies so the flower colors were rich and gorgeous.

July 22, 2008--Smart Car With Reflection--I took this for fun on the street after the car show. I think the Smart Car is cute and fun to look at. I wonder how it would be to drive.

July 24, 2008--Grandkid Tree. Took this at a family event--my daughter's wedding--in late June. Just finishing processing all the photos I took there! Here are my three grandchildren getting away from the party for awhile.

July 21, 2008--Another one from the car show. I loved the mass of reflections and similar colors in this photo with the Bentley hood ornament as its main subject.

July 25, 2008. Leaves And Light. Love photographing trees. I decided to put a glowing edges filter on this one.
